Biography

Dr. Mark H. Leibenhaut, a radiation oncologist with Radiological Associates of Sacramento’s Radiation Oncology Division specializes in treating Hodgkin’s and non- Hodgkin’s lymphomas and prostate cancer. A graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Dr. Leibenhaut earned his medical degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He did his internship at Pacific Medical Center and his residency in therapeutic radiology at Stanford University. Recently, he was awarded an M.B.A. degree from California State University, Sacramento. In addition to being the President/Chairman of the Board of RAS, Dr. Leibenhaut was also the former Chief of Staff for Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento - a position he viewed as an opportunity to contribute globally to the quality of patient care in the community. Since joining RAS in 1991, Dr. Leibenhaut has been involved with the opening of several of RAS’ Radiation Oncology Centers. He has been the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials and has published in radiological journals. Dr. Leibenhaut is an avid squash player and enjoys bicycling, running and downhill skiing with his wife and children.
