When Diane was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer she thought "I'm not going to let this get me!" She underwent radiation therapy at RAS' Auburn ROC and was supported in her fight by RAS' great staff, her husband and family. Diane made sure cancer didn't win and now takes delight in playing with her grandchildren. She has a new appreciation for the little things in life.

Prostate cancer survivor, Charles Munroe, participated in a national clinical trial through RAS' Radiation Oncology Centers. An avid sports fan, Charles wanted to be sure he was getting top notch care so that he could stay on top of his game. The Sacramento Kings have served as his inspiration for determination but his grandchildren are the true victors.

When Casey was 12 he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He underwent radiation therapy at the RAS' Sutter Cancer Center ROC. Touched by the compassionate care he experienced at the ROC, Casey wanted to give back to others and founded "Casey's Project" a non-profit organization that donates toys to children in the hospital.
