Clinical Trials
Radiological Associates of Sacramento (RAS), a full member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. (RTOG) is a National Cancer Institute-sponsored cooperative research group that develops state-of-the-art Phase II and III clinical trials for adult cancer patients.
Our physicians are active participants in the development and completion of RTOG clinical research, and rank among the top 10 institutions nationwide in patient accrual and data quality. We also participate regularly in national clinical trials sponsored by the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) and the Pediatric Oncology Group (POG).
Patients referred to RAS who decide to participate in clinical trials have access to therapy devised by leading physicians in the field of cancer research and have access to new drugs and interventions before they become widely available.
